Possibly descended from Niclaus Stauffer (born 1495, Luchsmatt Farm, Eggiwil, CH) but I cannot verify that far back yet. I have travelled in der Schweiz years ago and would love to return there to visit these places. I can speak high German at a basic level, but get lost with Swiss German, LOL. Thank you so much for this blog. May God bless all of you.
I am a pastor for our church Calvary Chapel of Leesburg (FL), we are small operation dairy goat farmers, and I work in construction too.
I'd be happy to hear from any of you. -- Ron Stauffer pastorron@ccleesburg.orgRonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11640154794493204346noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-785749270206338110.post-84117608810682393932018-07-05T13:22:56.715-04:002018-07-05T13:22:56.715-04:00Interesting - I was at the house in in 1996 and sp...Interesting - I was at the house in in 1996 and spoke with a young man who was the only one who could speak English. We did meet an 83 year-old Grand mother who was an 11th generation Stauffer.
